Slick Cliff still can't turn his mother from toy-boy Travis' affections. So he uses his charm to get the car keys off him, and takes the sports car for a wild ride with Nikky. Cliff fakes an accident to provoke a Travis. Cliff tells Johnny that Eddie Nolan's mother, Maria, still lives in Palm Springs, so he goes to see her.
