The most expected movie till date...
It does not live up to the standards.
Some brilliant performances from Manoj K Jayan, Padmapriya n Sarath kumar. Musical dept too did an excellent job.. The sound design by academy award winner Resul Pookuty live up to the expectations...
Mammooty's role has nothing for the actor to show his caliber. The film has compromised for commercial gains and to give the lead role more importance. one of the song (Kunnathe Konnaykum) was included just for this cause. One may argue that it was to show the personal life of Pazhassi but that was totally unnecessary . In the background of some shots one can see mobile towers, actors with modern slippers etc. which shows the negligence... Most of the visual effects and some of the action sequences are even vulgar than that in some B-grade films.
Over all the movie is watchable.. But never reaches anywhere near a classic.
