Yet another Maeve Binchy movie.
A group of old people pay to stay in a home but the owner and staff leave for Xmas and her sister takes charge.
Lame and predictable movie that doesn't go anywhere. The title is from a song's lyrics. Everything in this picture is too slight and the characters should have been more interesting. There's something strange about watching two attractive actresses (Atwell and Brady) constantly arguing with each other. What this movie really needed was Maggie Smith. Some memorable scenes: Redgrave singing in the pub; the licking of Michael Caine!; the Xmas dinner; and Ackland's breakfast. The kind of movie that will be given away free on DVD with the Daily Mail. The director's previous movie Short Order was far more interesting.
How About You is another lame Binchy movie.
