Quotes

Melanie Stone: There's nothing to discuss. For years now, I've put my life on hold while helping you get whatever you want out of yours. I'm not your campaign manager, Tom, and I'm not one of your subordinates. I'm supposed to be your partner.
Tom Stone: [shakes head and laughs incredulously] You picked a hell of a time for this! But, uh, I see your point. You've made a lot of sacrifices, and I appreciate that.
Melanie Stone: [relenting] Thank you. But right now, I just wanna get back in there and do my job. OK?
Tom Stone: [satisfied] By all means.

Based on True Oklahoma Story
31 August 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Although the producers added their own twists to this story, it is based on the Oklahoma case of Randy Dial who allegedly kidnapped a prison warden's wife, Bobby Parker. The case may never be completely solved as many feel strongly that Bobby ran away with her supposed captor, and wasn't kidnapped. Dial and Parker played cat and mouse with the police until they were finally caught in Canter, Texas. Their case was profiled on America's Most Wanted for years until they were finally found. Dial died in 2007 of terminal health problems. Bobby Parker still maintains she was kidnapped and no formal charges have been filed.

This movie is exciting for a TV movie based loosely on real life.
