Sergeant Boyden alerts Don Beech of a couple he's trying to track down, not to be outdone Don sets up a bet with Boyden, on who can get there first.
It's nice to see the team spirit happening here at Sun Hill, and your enjoyment of this episode will no doubt come down to whether you're team Boyden or team Beech. It's good that the fed between the pair hasn't just been a flash in the pan, there has been a genuine rivalry since Beech arrived, by this point they're quite similar characters, both have large egos, neither like to be outdone, both have .....histories.
I did enjoy it, I found the plot interesting enough, but of course it's the rivalry that makes it all the more spicy. There's a sense of urgency throughout, it's definitely well paced.
It is always wonderful to see the Only Fools and Horses legend Micky Pearce, that voice and delivery will forever be distinctive.
