With her caustic wit and singular charm, DCI Vera Stanhope and her trusted right-hand man DS Joe Ashworth face a series of captivating murder mysteries set against the breathtaking Northumberland landscape.
Well I vote on 2, because I've seen worse in Latina telenovela; but Goldplated is not at all the kind of series I'll able to follow on TV; I can't stand the universe where the series is settled, and there isn't one character or two I can cope with. And I really don't understand what people can find new and casual in this series. It's not even Cheap & Chic, and the plot doesn't worth anything. The actors are actually not that bad, but the characters are merely unbearable, in particular John White, the sanguine and tyrannic head of the Whites family, very close to ignominious JR in America's Dallas. I won't advise, even to my enemies, to watch this series, and I really understand the critics who give a tough opinion about it.
