A fake numbers racket gets tough...but of course, Captain Braddock is tougher!
planktonrules14 May 2014
A numbers racket is not only involved with gambling, but they are REALLY greedy, so they are faking the results. In other words, there are no real winners with these folks--no one gets a payout. Unfortunately, one of the lower level employees of the organization, Mr. Colt, pays out and the gang is determined to find him and teach him a lesson. Wisely, the mousy Colt goes to Captain Braddock who vows to look into this scam. Braddock keeps him in protective custody for some time but later gets Colt to deliberately show himself so that the gang shows up and tries their rough stuff.

This is a decent but unremarkable episode of "Racket Squad". The only real standout is seeing several familiar character actors, such as Tom Kennedy in this one.
