An odd little scam indeed!

This episode of "Racket Squad" begins with a man and wife being disturbed at home--someone's car broke down and he needs some help. After helping the guy, the folks go back to their lives--not thinking anything unusual had occurred. Soon after, the couple receive a package--some steaks from the rancher they'd helped with the car troubles. The rancher calls and tells them it's the least he can do and they should enjoy their steaks. A bit later, he even has 1/4 of a steer delivered to them! So how, exactly, does all this end up being a scam? See the show and you'll understand.

This is an odd episode. After all, the crook keeps giving things to the couple--so how can this end up being a bad thing? It's also unusual because of how the boss behaves later in the show. I know I sound cryptic--I just don't want to give away the plot twists. All in all, it's a pretty typical episode of the series even though it sure has a lot of weird story elements.
