Mel is off to see her mom as mom prepares for surgery, and Jim sleeping alone has a vivid dream of a beautiful blonde woman who seems to want to him to do something for her. Eventually, this leads Jim to a memorial service for the dead woman, where he is in for a major shock when he finally realizes who she was and what she wanted from him. The episode is a real heart breaker, but it results in saving someone close to the spirit in question. Mel gets a tad jealous of the ghost. This also is the episode that introduces Delia to Tim, one of Jim's EMT buddies. At the memorial service, which Tim attends at the behest of Jim and Delia shows up at for reasons I have forgotten, many of those in attendance are fashion models. When Delia says only partially playfully to Tim that he must be in hog heaven with all the beauties floating around, he tells her he doesn't like skinny women. This catches Delia's attention big-time.
