Who's attacked Ted Craven, is it merely coincidence that an ex cop, known to Jack Meadows, Geoff Hallwood, has turned up worse for wear in a cell?
Solid, it's a little bit of a paint by numbers episode, but it does have its good points. The case itself is pretty imaginative, and there are a few good characters here, but best of all is that we learn a bit more about Jack Meadows, he's been present, but his character development has halted somewhat, we learn here that even in his past, he's black and white.
Mark looks familiar, checking his page, he becomes a regular in later years.
Karl Johnson does a pretty good job as Geoff, although I do struggle somewhat to see him as an ex copper.
7/10.
