John Boulton is left with egg on his face, after a man he arrests, absconds, he finds the relief less than sympathetic to his faux pas.
It's a good story, nothing hugely unique at play, but it's the fact that they finally take John Boulton down a few pegs that makes it so enjoyable. He's been quite hard to like since arriving, he always seems to have the last laugh, here though he is cut down to size.
That road block was a little convenient it's fair to say, you could well be saying, what are the chances. However it works well, and the night time setting adds some nice atmosphere.
Christine Ellerbeck is always great fun, her characters always seem to be on The Cockroft Estate.
Enjoyable, 7/10.
