While Cravex and Mortredd are chasing Feryl and Arzon, the four stumble upon a tomb with the warning of a curse. Everyone but Cravex wants to avoid it, so the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords ask Merklynn about it. He explains that it is a prison forged by him and his allies for the Sun Imps, dislodged from underground by earthquakes, and requests the Visionaries to rebury it. But Lexor thinks something more powerful and less harmful to them must be hidden there so manipulates Cindarr into using the Beast of Destruction to open it. The six imps escape, wrecking havoc on New Valaric and tormenting all the Visionaries as well as Merklynn. Written by

Sun Imps are nasty, magical creatures that created so much havoc during the last Age of Magic that all of the forces in the old world joined to seal them into a tomb and then buried it. How were we to know that earthquakes would undo our work? Now someone must go out there and bury it once more.
