Trivia

When Hiro phones Ando and realizes he's talking to himself he hangs up and says "Gurehto Sukotto!" i.e. "Great Scott!", the favorite exclamation of Doc Brown, the inventor of the time machine in Back to the Future (1985) and, before him, of Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet in "Superman". At Peter's graduation party, the song "Smile" by Lily Allen is played. This song was released in July 2006 and was therefore not available "six months before" when the episode takes place. See more »

Quotes

Mohinder Suresh: [narrating voice over] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose. The Earth spins at a thousand miles an hour as we desperately try to keep from being thrown off. Like the first blush in winter, that signals a great migration. Was there any warning of their arrival? A sign, a single event that set this chain into motion? Was it a whisper in God's ear? Survive. Adapt. Escape. And if we could mark that single moment in time, that first hint of the prophecy of ...

The One Six Months Ago...
4 April 2016 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I absolutely love this episode. Not only is it one of the crucial episodes from this season, but it's also one of my all-time favorites from the entire series.

In this episode, we travel back in time, well Hiro does anyway, we're just along for the ride. We go to six months ago, and learn about all of our favorite heroes. We see how Claire joined the cheerleading squad, and how her powers first developed. We see the first time "Jessica" appears. Chandra Suresh talks to the man who would eventually become Sylar. Nathan is in a car accident, and flies out of the car, causing his wife to be the only hurt one. And Hiro becomes friends with Charlie at the Texas diner. He tries to find a way to save her.

Fun Fact: During Peter's graduation, the song "Smile" by Lily Allen is playing, however that song was release in July 2006, and therefore did not exist "six months ago".

Best part of the episode: Hiro in the diner, or Claire getting her powers.

Worst part of the episode: Niki's Dad, he's so horrible.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
