This comedy short was recently posted on IMDb in the US. Hopefully, they can work out licensing rights to show it abroad as well.
This short film apparently impressed some people other than just myself. That's because when I checked IMDb, I found that a full-length version is now being filmed and is coming out in 2009. I can hardly wait. If it's half as good as this short, then I'll have a great time! The film is a mockumentary about a division III football team at a liberal arts school. It's told through flashbacks that occur through the course of an interview between on of the players and a reporter who seems VERY underwhelmed with the team. Considering they are division III (for very, very small colleges), it is pretty funny to see the players take it so very seriously. It's also funny to see the usually mousy (and annoying) Andy Dick as the coach. He's absolutely hilarious as a wimpy but totally crazy man who has less self-control than Bobby Knight! Plus the homo-erotic overtones are funny as well.
In every way this is an excellent short. Considering it helped lead to a full-length film, it is evidence of this. See it and laugh....and consider seeing the feature film as well. I just hope they don't mess with the formula.
