Storyline

Back in India to mourn the passing of his father, Suresh encounters mysterious dreams of the past that force him to question what path to take next. Continuing their journey to New York, Hiro and Ando stop at a Texas diner and meet someone interesting: a waitress named Charlie who has her own special ability of instant learning. But the shadowy serial killer, Sylar, finds her first. Intent on getting back to her normal life, Claire focuses on Homecoming preparations, unaware of what's to come. Meanwhile, H.R.G. and his associate Eden, focus their attentions on another "hero": Isaac Mendez whom H.R.G. (Mr. Bennett) confides that he needs his help to find Sylar before he kills Claire. In Los Angeles, Parkman and Agent Audrey Hanson interrogate the nuclear man, Ted Sprague, about his abilities and learn that he too was abducted by the mysterious horned-rimmed glasses man. Quotes

Mohinder Suresh: [voice over] The earth is large. Large enough that you think you can hide from anything. From Fate, From God. If only you found a place far enough away. So you run... To the edge of the Earth, where all is safe again. Quiet and Warm. The Solace of salt air. The peace of danger left behind. The luxury of grief. And maybe, for a moment... , you believe you have escaped.

The One With The Diner In Texas...
9 October 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I enjoyed this episode. I really loved it because Charlie, and Sylar come into the show, two characters whom I love.

In this episode, Mohinder is back in India, mourning the death of his Father, while he has mysterious dreams, that he desperately wants answers to. Meanwhile, Hiro, and Ando stop in at a diner in Texas, where they meet Charlie, a lovely waitress, who has her own special ability. She can remember basically everything, and learn everything instantly. But then unfortunately, Sylar strikes again, and kills Charlie. This devastates Hiro, so he goes back in time to save her. Noah Bennet, and Eden focus on trying to get Isaac to paint something that will help save Claire at Homecoming. And Matt, and Agent Audrey interrogate a man who has the ability to be a nuclear bomb, and learns that he, and Matt were both taken by the same people.

First appearance of: Charlie.

First appearance of: Sylar (where we actually see his face).

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
