School Rumble is a very well written anime. The main plot seems to boil down to a love triangle between Harima (A tough punk with a good heart who wants to be a artist) Tenma (A hyperactive girl who is very dimwitted) and Karasuma (A bland and very boring character) but the show also uses its multiple characters to have very complicated romances between each of the characters to the point where you would need a chart just so see which characters liked who. The humor and dialogue is well written but my main problem is the lack of development in the plot. Nothing really seems to happen in the romance department unless the writers need to use it for comedic purposes. Also after awhile you start to fee like the show drags itself out. I also didn't get all the jokes but I got most of them and I found them funny and enjoyable.
