Storyline

Mike, a seven-year-old boy, has recently lost his mother in a car accident. Today is the day of the funeral and Mike's one goal is to find out what happened to his mother and where she is now. His father is too shell-shocked to respond to his questions and his grandmother is of the "old world" mindset that children should be seen and not heard. Just when it seems as if Mike will not receive the answers to his questions, his Aunt Libby arrives home and takes him on a journey to discover the truth. After seeing the sites involved in the accident they finally reach the desolate cemetery and Libby simply sits with Mike as he tries to process where his mom is now. Written by Tamara Kihs

Great movie. It touched my heart. Music was great!
11 March 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Movie was great. Acting was good. At first I really did not know where the film was going. For a short film it unfolded nicely. This movie got me thinking about how I would handle a situation similar to this. For a short film I got the understanding and the plot was clear. It moved well and the music got me emotionally involved. The actors were first rate and the directing was professional. I could have watched another hour of this movie. Would love to see more of this director. I will keep a lookout for more from him. Again the music really moved me. Who did the music and where can I hear more from him/her? Keep up the good work.
