CAPTAIN EMPHYSEMA is a very strange film. This guy is probably one of the lamest and weirdest super-heroes I have ever seen!
The film begins with a guy in what looks like a home made and super-cheesy super-hero costume showing up at a school to give a lecture. Captain Emphysema isn't very impressive to look at but he somehow has the magical power to make people want to smoke. The school receptionist, the principal, the teacher and even the students all fall under his mighty power. Though well paid for his work, the Captain seems a bit down about his work. I wonder why!
This is a clever film and a nice anti-smoking film. Some might find it a bit too preachy and obvious, but being a short film and an interesting idea, I enjoyed it.
