Saw this at a recent film festival. Film doesn't rise above your typical TV movie-of-the week. Which is why I was asking :why is this film at a film festival when it really belongs on the Lifetime Network? (and that is being generous). Just because it's based on a true story doesn't mean we should pay attention to it. Ending is melodramatically corny and predictable, and the causes for the main character's dilemma aren't fully explained. Plodding script and direction. So-so acting. With a cast of "B" actors this film will go nowhere. Chances of this film finding a distributor and/or making money: 15%.
