In one episode there is a scene depicting a woman pulled from the river naked. She is shown naked several times as various people try to revive her.

Generally every episode is centered around one or more murders. By definition, the theme involves violence. There is little actual violence depicted though frequently dead bodies are shown, sometimes with injuries or blood apparent.
