The regular 1977 season has begun, and the Yankees are getting off to a rough start, losing 7 games in a row at one point. In the middle of it all, a Yankee player named Thurman Munson read an article supposedly about Reggie Jackson stating that he was "The straw that stirs the Drink". Upset and confused, Jackson is trying to set things straight about it. Meanwhile, in the city of New York itself was facing a crisis of it's own. A serial killer using a .45 caliber gun is hooting and killing people. while the police try to find out about the killer, Billy Martin and Steinbrenner are arguing over Jackson's position in the batting order.- Written by John Wiggins
