Storyline

* "Fuzzle Trouble": While he and his fellow Smurfs are maintaining the Smurf River dam, Clumsy finds a seemingly friendly woodland tick, called a fuzzle, and brings it back to the village as a pet. Papa Smurf immediately recognizes the fuzzle as a troublemaker and orders Clumsy to take it back. Clumsy can't bring himself to do it, and when he leaves to return to the dam, it becomes apparent why Papa made his warning: The fuzzle eats everything in sight ... and multiplies itself rapidly -- into two, then four and then a lot more! Clumsy runs to Papa for help, but Papa immediately figures out what is going on when fuzzles begin eating everything in sight. Clumsy is ordered to take the fuzzles (who by now number in the hundreds) back to the woods; however, the fuzzles escape and immediately go to the dam for dinner. Meanwhile, Gargamel has created a Smurf tracker, whose aim is to detect the footprints of the woodland creatures; his and Azrael's stalking efforts (which include a brief ... Fuzzle Trouble : My favorite Clumsy episode
27 May 2010 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This is my favorite Season #1 Smurf episode with Clumsy Smurf - and besides, I love Clumsy.

The story goes when all the Smurfs gather logs for repairs on their dam. And Clumsy and Brainy notice a tiny creature on Clumsy's log that looked like a powder puff with eyes, a mouth, arms and legs. Clumsy show the little thing to Papa Smurf, but Papa knows what the creature is - a Fuzzle and told Clumsy to put it back in the woods, because they're trouble. Of course, Clumsy put the Fuzzle back in the woods, but the Fuzzle liked Clumsy and didn't want him to go. And so Clumsy took the Fuzzle back home - under his hat.

Meanwhile, Gargamel the wizard is testing a new Smurf-tracking invention -- a footprint-finding formula that can reveal the footprints of whoever or whatever the formula picks up. At Clumsy's house in the village, Clumsy gives the Fuzzle a bowl of Smurfberries for it to eat and he goes back to work on the dam. But after Clumsy leaves, the fuzzle eats the bowl itself and then multiplies into two fuzzles, then they eat some more objects in Clumsy's house and multiply into more fuzzles - Uh-Oh! I do not want to give anymore details, watch and see what happens.

Overall I love this episode!
