After the desperately bad previous two or three episodes Jericho is back on track with this week series. At least two of the three plot lines this time are interesting enough and this is because they leave soap opera aside for clean good action. Jake and Eric go on a trip to look for medicine to save their father's life and encounter a group of rogue mercenaries we'll certainly deal with in the coming episodes, while Robert's family go through an interrogation from their suspicious neighbors. On the way we learn something more about the past of both Jake and Robert, and what we learn makes sense. The only less interesting plot line is happening in the mayor's house, with a McGyver trick trying to win a few more hours for his life to be saved in the last five seconds while it's still possible. We also get some more information about the nature of the nuclear incident that triggered the story, although I have reasons to believe we are still far from knowing what the authors keep from us in store. The final gives good hints about what we shall deal with in the coming episodes and there is hope again for 'Jericho'.
