Deakin and Croft are called to a very macabre scene, a mummified small body is found in a trunk in a shed on an allotment.
What a tremendous episode this is, fantastic from beginning to end, a story that doesn't truly feel like it belongs on The Bill, but on a lavish six part drama series, it's tragic, but very, very good.
It's well paced, moving and hugely thought provoking, you are taken to a time where attitudes and mindsets were very different, where the term shame had a completely different meaning to what it does today.
Od course the story needed to be realised, and it was, first rate acting, I thought Jenny Howe in particular was superb.
Truly a great watch, 9/10.
