Wedding belles

Vera Poling is talking at length about her granddaughter Stephanie's upcoming wedding and great grandchildren, Eleanor listens with annoyance, bored and slightly jealous. Eleanor is delighted to hear that Stephanie is pregnant, but Eleanor seeks marriage and grandchildren from Sarah and Clare.

I enjoyed this one, Eleanor is very much back on form, jostling for social position with Vera Poling, desperate to get one up on her, using the geriatric mafia to spy on her. Its great see Vera Poling finally get one up on Eleanor, and once again the non speaking Mary is very funny.

A funny episode, great that it showcases some of the hideous fashions from the eighties.
