Trivia

Ah My Goddess Fans consider the Fighting Wings Anniversary Special and the three OADs released in 2011 to be a stand-in for the third season that never quite happened after the show went on hiatus. An unofficial third season, that chronologically takes place after the end of the Manga, was made in the form of a bootleg video comic titled Ah! My Goddess: Bad Goddess in 2017 without the consent of Kodansha or Kosuke Fujishima and released on various internet sites, such as YouTube, for the Ah My Goddess Internet Community. The context of that season is it was intended as a Storyboarded Practical Joke Pitch made by an intern at a Public Access Station who was suffering a nervous breakdown due to bi-polar disorder and sleep deprivation. The joke premise is that it's so tongue in cheek, outspoken, and terrible, that it could never conceivably be greenlighted for production, unless that producer was insane and didn't care about his future career. It's also a psychological allegory film. See more »

Sweet family anime-Ah!Megami-sama-sorezore no tsubasa(Ah! MY goddess-each wing)
16 December 2006 | by See all my reviews

Well,I saw it,or what has appeared of the series. And I like it.As one friend of mine said: " It's a series for the whole family".And it is. The story is quite fun,and every show you see brings back in your heart some warmth. From the first series the characters haven't evolved too much, but as an advice: watch the "Ah! My goddess" series and then this series, and after that watch the Ah! MY goddess movie. You will understand a lot of things. With fun moments, the adventures of Belldandy and Keiichi, along with Skuld,Belldandy's little sister and Urd,the warm hearted stepsister of Belldandy, the adventures continue on an interesting line.New characters emerge, like Urd,s real mother and true love.Yes,the series is in a way repetitive, but not in a way that it bothers you,but more like...it brings a hidden side of familiarity to the series.I truly recommend the series even if you are a fan of shoujo or shounen anime.
