Storyline

In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer. Adam "Bug" Heller (Max Thieriot) was supposed to die on the last night the Riverton Ripper wrecked havoc on that terrifying night. Unaware of terrifying crimes being committed to the seven children, he has been plagued by nightmares of their murders while not aware if they hold true or if he is simply imagining the images that haunt him. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that's returned, he must face an evil that won't rest...until it finishes the job it began the day he was born. Written by Anonymous

Quotes

Bug: I'm scared.
Alex: We're sixteen, Bug. Like it or not, we're men now.
Bug: I don't feel like a man!
Alex: No one does, that's why you gotta fake it.
Bug: Fake being a man to be a man?
Alex: That's the way it works. You can't run, you have to face your fear like a man.
Bug: Even though I'm not a man?
Alex: Because you're not a man. Listen, the better you fake it, the better man you are.
Bug: Just fake it.
Alex: Fake it good. Like if you're scared, act like you don't give a shit, or if somebody hurts you, say, "Thank you very much, that felt ...

Ignorance not always bliss.
10 October 2010 | by See all my reviews

Not entirely what you'd expect from a horror movie, unfortunately for the people who have no idea what schizophrenia is and don't believe in demons this movie has no basis in their horror ideologies. This movie requires more thinking than an average horror film and most would be repulsed by this feature. But, with that being said, the movie as a horror in it's creepy factor are perfect if you actually understand the concept. the film doesn't pull the usual shock and awe gory scenes to scare you but it has it's moments. overall not the best horror movie ever, only because it doesn't relate to everyone and the people when people die it's almost humorous. This movie requires a level of intelligence to watch and an open mind on the subject of souls, in order to be "freaked out." If you understand these concepts you'll enjoy the movie, if you don't you'll be left complaining about it's complexity and how it made no sense.
