Goofs

Joy is in jail and behind a partition while arguing with Catalina over the visitor's phone. Earl interrupts and in doing so, repeats some of Joy's dialogue. However, Joy is isolated behind a partition and Earl isn't on the phone. He should have had no idea what she was saying. See more »

Quotes

Catalina: [picks up phone] Nice jumpsuit.
Joy: Ain't you sweet. Now Earl tells me that for some crazy reason, you think we're not friends!
Catalina: The first time you saw me you called me a whore.
Joy: No, you just misunderstood what I said. Which is understandable, I mean because you're Mexican.
Catalina: I'm not Mexican.
Joy: Whatever, you speak Mexican.
Catalina: I speak Spanish.
Earl: Well you both speak friendly, so let's just go with that.
Catalina: Look, I'm not stupid. I know you hate me. And I know why you hate me. It's because I'm hot.
Joy: Excuse me?

Recap and thoughts
23 November 2006 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This episode continues the second season storyline: Joy's stealing of the truck lands her in prison. Earl, has to raise the $1 million bail so Randy lists rich people they know who might help them. Earl notes that The Beverly Hillbillies and Donald Trump are TV show characters so they decide to as Richard Chubby, the owner of a fast food restaurant, a dry cleaning shop and a strip bar called Club Chubby. He agrees to loan Earl the money if he can convince Catalina to come back and work for him.

Interestingly, this is the first time Earl has not even tried to complete an item on his list and the second time where Earl fails to complete an item on his list (the first being the Bounty Hunter).
