Great production, could have been better.

The production is great, if not at best however the story is just clumped together. A bunch of guys settling their troubles after a dramatic intro and then settling their differences aside until the final part of the film. Nothing else. Could tell they're trying to make the characters as interesting, can't complain. Would like more in the movie to expand the premise a bit with how great they placed the set together but maybe that's the point. The style of the film cutting from one scene to another and another, trying to entertain with what's better, you could tell what they're really trying to push but it gets in the way of trying to tell the main story.

utter rubbish

this is awful. a lot of people heap praise on this movie claiming it's revival of Polish comedy. if Polish comedy is to look like this in the future, with shallow, vodka-driven characters, intelligence-insulting dialogues and non-existing plot whose logic could be easily undermined by a 10-year old, then i don't want to see any more of Polish cinema. but if you're after a couple of shots and enjoy idle, alco-talk, then you'll love it. for me, there's too much mindlessness and slapstick humour in the "movie." let's call a spade a spade. no serious movie fan will respect this film. no 'serious' comedy enthusiast will laugh at these shallow jokes. my dog left the room after fifteen minutes.

well I won't agree that Szyc and co are the best actors of the Polish new generation nor this movies is the best ...but as all good quality comedies its worth watching OK first ill layout all the good things in the movie 1. The actors although not the best are fantastic for this style of movies

2. The texts and portray of so called male dominator's is hilarious and makes you think about our real position in this womens aren't portrayed here in a bad matter its the characters who are hurt by some of them that portray them like that

3 The movie doesn't evolve about simple minded sex issues but is actually a great society studies about some of the macho's stereotype !

Bad things : 1 The Plot is stereotype and kinda resemblance popular in our TV new type soap opera's

2.No challenging plot no creativity no nothing just normal life normal people actually everything colored in the 'Bold and Beautiful' Style

Well technically its not a bads movie to watch I seen Anime titles worsen than this ! Its hilarious moderately intelligent ! and perhaps most important its the FIRST UNIVERSAL POLISH MOVIE !!!!!!! ITS a MOVIE THAT WILL BE UNDERSTANABLE WITHOUT ANY SPECCIFIC POLISH KNOWLEDGE ! SO MY ADVICE TO ALL Americans THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR YOU !!!

Great, equally good as the play

This is a great, funny, clever movie. Originally a play, which I saw 4 times, I was anxious to see the movie cos I was afraid it would not be as good as the original. I was wrong. It is funny, almost word to word from the play - which is a definite plus!. The actors do look as if they still have a lot of fun playing their roles. There are few additions (line) to the original script but it is only for the best. This is a very funny movie both for males and females and it shows all the differences between our sexes really sharply and cleverly. It is a great Saturday movie or any day of the week movie, come to think of it. Enjoy! (and this comes form a female viewer :))

If Maciek Stuhr appears in a movie it has to be good. The cast is superb (right now Kot, Szyc are top polish actors of young generation). Script is quite funny, maybe it has some low moments but generally they did their best and the action moves smoothly.

Some may say that women were shown in bad light in this movie... well sure they exaggerated "a little" but then men weren't pictured at their best either so I guess it was a square deal.

If you had some terrible experiences with polish comedies (polish people thought them utterly funny and you couldn't even follow the main plot) this will not be the case (or so I hope:)
