"Family Guy" Road to Rupert (TV Episode 2007) Poster

(TV Series)

(2007)

Trivia

The title is based on the series of "Road" films that starred Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour.
The musical number with Stewie and a live-action Gene Kelly is an edited scene from the movie Anchors Aweigh (1945). The sequence originally involved Jerry Mouse of Tom and Jerry fame. Stewie's reflection on the floor remains that of Jerry.
Peter is shown watching SpongeBob SquarePants: Krabby Land/The Camping Episode (2004). This episode's director, Dan Povenmire, was a writer on that episode of "Spongebob".
This is the third "Road to..." episode. The others being 'Road to Rhode Island' and 'Road to Europe'.
'David Lynch''s Inland Empire (2006), along with the Broken Sky (2006) are shown playing back-to-back at the Quahog drive-in theatre.
During the yard sale there is a video of Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
