Just saw it at Film Festival -- hilarious.

I got to see this movie when it was touring the festival circuit here in Syracuse at the B-Movie festival. The Palace theater on main street, where it showed, had the bald guy from Hills have Eyes signing autographs. It was a huge 75mm print projected on the screen and the color quality, whatever you call it, was amazing. Like a toned-up Sin City kind of thing but different. They were showing this film and the original cut of Lady Vengeance and funny thing is this movie is about a girl getting her revenge too. In a nutshell, I was laughing the whole movie (it's short so that not too long) but it's totally out-of-control great. A couple of films that Hollywood put out after this ended it's tour seemed to take so much from it, for instance most of Southland Tales, the characters in Resident Evil: Apocalypse and you can even say some television shows. I don't know if the producer big wigs in Hollywood ever saw this but it sure seems like this movie started a bunch of movements. If you haven't seen it and if you like John Waters and political satire stuff, Doctor Strangelove, etc, you're gonna love this. I don't want to give too much away!
