Rod Cameron guest stars in this Laramie story, the first of six episodes he appeared in. In this one Cameron plays a fast gun and a contract killer who gets assignments via General Delivery at the US Post Office. He's in Laramie for a letter explaining who his next assignment will be.
John Smith has good reason to suspect that Robert Fuller is the target given Jess Harper's outlaw past and some history with Cameron. So he's sent on a convenient cattle buying trip to Cheyenne. But Cameron shows up and gets into an animal trap. He gets nursed back to health and more happens on the Sherman ranch to get Cameron reassess the life he leads.
You'll have to watch the episode to see why Cameron changes his mind and who his target is and why. But it will be worth it I assure you.
