Storyline

Since keeping secret Leopold's kidnapping improves his safe return, the Cains carry on with their annual fundraiser; but, an outside few, knowing of their plight, try taking advantage of the situation. As Lucian checks out what a surprisingly aware convict knows about the kidnapping (a taunting and malicious fellow from Lucian's own past), tensions grow between Leopold's guards, compounded by a local authority ready to take advantage, himself.
