One toy soldier runs away... Again.
mark.waltz12 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Every time David runs away, there's trouble, yet he constantly has to run away, particularly to the old house or Sarah's hiding place, and this time, he's determined to price that he's right about Barnabas. Roger, Julia and Victoria discuss the antique toy soldier, and while listening in, David manages to sneak out undetected. But he chose a to do it at the wrong time, at the rising of Barnabas's coffin, and with the use of a lengthy segway around the old house basement, David enters in the Lady minutes of the episode, caught in the act.

Snoopy David keeps asking for trouble, and this time, he's really found it. The episode had started with another threat from Barnabas to Julia, and ends with a threat towards David. It's obvious that Grayson Hall is now considered one of the most important cast members because not only does she get once again the opening narration but the closing announcement that "Dark Shadows is a Dan Curtis production". It's chilling and fitting that one of the eeriest episodes of the series takes place at the start of the Halloween season.

Cobwebby

Warning: Spoilers
After a little tete-a-tete between the usually grumpy Barnabas and a placating Julia, Episode 332 predominantly features David in full-blown investigator mode. He's determined to get to the bottom of Barnabas' sinister presence so much of this involves him exploring the usual cobwebby crypts with some 'shock' moments to boot.
