Storyline

Claire Potter proves to have been poisoned and, on the day of her death, had taken in a wood-block from Max Fustian for cleaning, as well as a mysterious parcel, the second of its kind. Campion starts to surmise that both the victims were killed because they were engaged in faking Lafcadio paintings for the unveiling ceremonies, since he has no outstanding output at his death. In unmasking the killer Campion accepts an invitation that almost leads to his own demise. Written by don @ minifie-1
