At the end of episode #1.7, Burt was seated in front of a dog sled on the wall, with Danny standing, holding a gun close to his head. Danny can't bring himself to kill Burt, and decides to hide out from the Mob,who'll try to kill him in retaliation. While he's packing,he has a heartfelt talk with little brother Jodie, whom he's always believed was not really gay, only a practical joker.Since Jodie will soon go in for his sex-change operation,he finally convinces his big brother that he's really a homosexual, and the scene concludes with a warm embrace between them.Danny tries to convince his worried mother that he's been chosen to go off spying, later returning in disguise as a postman, only to be shot at during a family get-together at the Tates. When Bob calls Benson Sambo, the butler warns him,"one more word, and he goes into the fireplace." Once the shooting starts, the dummy claims to have been hit!
