The relationship shown between Clark and Oliver mirrors the one Superman and Batman share in the DC comics. Even the love story between Lois and Oliver mirrors the one Lois and Bruce Wayne have before she falls in love with Clark. See more »

Oliver Queen: This is funny. You know, the way Lois talked about you, I thought you were gonna be a little bit more of a...
Clark Kent: Little more what? Of a geek?
Lois Lane: Well, you're not exactly jumping the velvet ropes at nightclubs, so...
Clark Kent: It's really nice to see that Lois has found someone who can overlook her personality.
Oliver Queen: Oh, don't worry about it, Clark. If I lived under the same roof with such a beautiful woman, I probably would've mask my feelings in sarcasm, too.

Arrival of the Emerald Archer
8 October 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

'Arrow' introduces a character from the future Justice League of America, Green Arrow, in this exciting episode.

Lionel is holding a party and especially commending Martha's work in Washington when a necklace that Martha was wearing, given to her by Lionel, gets stolen in a blackout. Clark investigates and discovers that the "thief" is Oliver Queen, seen in this seasons' second and third episodes. However, Clark learns that Lionel had bought the necklace off the Black Market, that it had been previously stolen, and that Green Arrow, as a modern Robin Hood, was trying to return it to its original owner. Meanwhile, Oliver's love interest Lois Lane is determined to find this thief and reveal his secret identity.

This episode is awesome because it features a new superhero, one that will be a key ally of Superman, and creates an interesting twist with Oliver's potential girlfriend Lois loving and despising the same person.
