Greig and Woods go after crook Harry Burton, who's always just one step ahead, Skase and Tosh investigate a young man who's been hospitalised.
It's good, it's gritty, a solid story with a good central villain in Burton, sometimes the two stories seem far apart, it's not hard to connect the two here though.
Skase comes across as being very cocky, he's been good since joining, but he'd be irritating to work with.
John Vine is good as Dave, he looks like a member of CID in that coat. I wish I knew what that song playing in the basement was.
It's very subtle, but when you compare episodes like this to earlier ones, you'll notice that they have definitely gone for a bit of eye candy, in CID we have Skase, in uniform we have Jarvis, it would definitely be more apparent in later years.
8/10.
