Storyline

After Bud and Lou fail miserably as door-to-door salesmen, their landlord recruits them to earn $100 as "beards" by taking out a beautiful pair of sisters on behalf of a couple hoodlum types. In order to please their father, an eccentric ornithologist, the boys try to install a birdcage-shaped TV antenna on the chimney, where they run into conflict with a feisty roofer, the two impatient toughs, and the inescapable law of gravity.
