It's really rare to see a good short and I think this one is pretty stellar. It drew me in from the beginning and kept my interest throughout. Dress Up has a nice clean storyline, a moody atmosphere, and a universal theme underscored by the provocative subject matter. The best thing about this film for me was the way the film-making reflects the main character's POV-- the camera angles feel organic, not as if they're simply thrown in for artifice-- I particularly liked the shots from underneath the bed. Overall, this film is both entertaining and easily accessible, not one of those shorts where the filmmaker is always trying to confuse you. Thoughtful and well-done all across the board.
