Mori e ikô (#1.28)

So now grandmother tries to make Heidi's life happier. She teaches her to read in one night, plays games with her, shows her around the house and at the end even decides to make a trip out of the city.

It just amazes me she never did it for Clara before. She stays in her room all the time and grandmother decides now that it is not good? In those 12 years she never cared about taking her into the woods or maybe even some theatre in the city? What the hell! It kind of reminds me how it was made to look as if Peter's grandmother cared more about Heidi than her own grandson. So now is the same with Clara's grandmother. Just doesn't fit.
