Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Violence & Gore

The film opens with a shot of a brutal car crash, where we see the main character bloody, and her husband is bloody too (and dead)

A woman has a dream, where she vomits, chokes and spits up blood, the vomits up her blood-covered baby (graphic and intense)

A woman stabs the end of a pair of scissors into a pregnant woman's navel, she then slashes the woman across the face with the scissors leaving a very large and bloody wound for the rest of the film.

A woman stabs her mother, thinking her to be the killer, in the neck with a long sharp needle. Blood sprays graphically onto walls and out of her mouth as she walks down the hallway before dying of blood loss.

A man is stabbed through the knee with a pair of scissors and blood pours from the wound. He is then stabbed in the crotch. Many close-up shots depict blood spraying out of the wound and he screams. He is then stabbed in the face many times before having his throat slit. A copious amount of blood sprays from his wounds and it is very disturbing.

A woman is stabbed in the arm with a large wooden needle-like hair barrette, then the barrette is twisted hard enough that the object breaks off in her arm. Blood pours from the wound as she screams in pain. She ends up pulling the needle out of her own arm with her teeth.

A woman crushes a cat's head. There is no blood or gore, but may be upsetting to viewers sensitive to (fictional) animal violence.

A woman stabs another woman's hand with a large pair of scissors, burying them up to the hilt so that her bloody hand is pinned to the wall. Later someone else removes them to free her and we see the blades went all the way through the other side of the woman's hand.

A man is stabbed in the eye with a knitting needle then stabbed in the throat. His body is seen twitching violently. Blood oozes from his eye throughout.

A man is suddenly shot in the face at point blank range with a revolver and has half of his head and face blown off up close in extremely graphic detail with blood and brain matter covering the walls and another woman, this scene is on par with Maniac and Scanners. The woman is drenched in blood and stays that way through the rest of the film.

A woman on her back feigns unconsciousness while another woman leans in close to her. The woman lying on her back then 'wakes' and bites off half of the other woman's lower lip, and we see her spit out blood and the chunk of lip onto the floor.

A woman hits and kicks a pregnant woman on the floor, including smashing her in the face and throat with a metal toaster (all this has very bloody results)

A woman's face and half her head is set on fire, we see the side of her face darken and char under the flames as she screams. Most of her face is horribly burned and disfigured for the remainder of the movie.

A woman stabs herself in the throat with a needle to breathe and as she gasps blood squirts and pours from the wound, onto the floor around her and all over her. Very graphic and intense.

A man hits a pregnant woman in the stomach, causing her water to break. Blood pours on to the floor. This scene is very brutal. Another woman then stabs the man in the armpit with a spear; blood sprays out everywhere. She then stabs him in the chest and he runs around the room before dying.

A pregnant woman becomes too weak to move and, as she goes into labor, another woman slowly cuts her stomach open with a pair of scissors. She puts her hands into the woman's stomach and tries to save the child. The other woman weeps and screams in pain and calls for her mother throughout. Blood pours out of her stomach and gushes down the stairs throughout, before she bleeds to death. The formerly pregnant woman's body is seen later with a gaping cavity in her belly where the baby was, her organs spilled out all over the stairs and blood covering everything.

By the last half, the interior of the entire house is covered and drenched with blood (including many scenes taking place in a stark white, brightly-lit bathroom where the blood is especially visible). Blood literally drips down walls after the bloodiest murders/acts.

The characters, especially the pregnant woman, are soaked with blood throughout over half the film.

8 uses of "fuck" and its derivatives. Many other profanities throughout.

A woman is seen smoking several times throughout the film.

The entire film is full of constant extreme violence and gore and is extremely disturbing. Not for anyone under 18 or those with a weak stomach.
