Fearing it will connect him with the death of Bill Malloy, Roger (Louis Edmonds) searches the Collinwood drawing room for the silver fountain pen he was supposed to return to Burke on the night Malloy died. Vicki enters, looking for David. They think he's likely at the Old House, after visiting Burke at the Collinsport Inn, and will come home when he gets hungry. Roger tells Liz (Joan Bennett) he disapproves of her considering Mrs. Johnson as housekeeper. In a small clip of location filming, Roger looks for the pen on Lookout Point, where Malloy was killed. Somewhere along the way, Roger stops to change his clothing. Carolyn (Nancy Barrett) is upset when she learns Joe was out dancing with Maggie at the Blue Whale. Liz has offers for both Joe (Joel Crothers) and Mrs. Johnson. Vicki has a surprise for Roger...
