Classic early Hope.

In this second episode of the series, (and Bob's second TV appearance) he keeps the fast-paced variety going. He was of course used to hosting such revues. Sinatra is in fine voice and still in the "too skinny" phase of his career. Bea Lillie was apparently held over from the first show, so she must have been a real crowd pleaser, and here she offers a few funny music-hall type songs and is in two skits, one about a catty encounter with an actress and as a substitute for Dorothy Lamour in a "Road" picture takeoff. In that one, Frank Sinatra takes the place of Bing, wearing improbably large fake ears to get into character. Funny show from the beginning of Bob's video years.
