Storyline

Suresh finally tracks down one of his father's fabled genetically advanced "supermen." In Las Vegas, Hiro's plan backfires when he cautiously turns time to his advantage at the gambling tables. Niki's mafia debtors use their leverage to their benefit in a more elaborate scheme, while Nathan pays a personal visit to a wealthy Vegas contributor to raise additional campaign funds. Following a tragic turn at a bonfire, Claire's uncanny healing abilities are put to the ultimate test, but according to Isaac's paintings, her future could be fraught with even more peril. Meanwhile, Matt's abilities are gauged by a pair of men who seem to know a great deal about people with special gifts. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

At one point Hiro and Ando ride down an escalator in matching gray suits while in Las Vegas. It seems like an ode to the movie Rain Man because the characters in the film take a trip to Vegas and "cheat" at cards. They too ride down an escalator in matching gray suits. See more »

Great Episode
3 November 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was a great episode. I recently started watching and this is a good series. I was also impressed to see more of a racially diverse cast. There are not many African American's but there's still a variety, much more than a lot of other shows offer. It was also great to see Toni Lewis. I followed her on Homicide and saw her in several other roles, here and there. In every role that she has played she has shown great acting ability and it surprises me that she didn't get anything reoccurring after such a great show as homicide. I would like to see her more on screen and even in a reoccurring role on Hero's especially since the show has much more men than women. In my opinion, this show has great possibility and can last season's to come.
