With All My Worldly Goods
Prismark1019 August 2021
A messy divorce case lands David Main in front of the solicitors disciplinary tribunal.

Tim Cowley is a tycoon who thought he has reached a divorce settlement with his wife.

She has reneged on the deal and taken him to court. At court it transpires that Tim has committed adultery with Julia, David's estranged wife.

The firm's articled clerk knew about this but did not tell the partners.

It was good to see David Main loosening up a bit. A mixture of being angry, feeling sorry for himself and being drunk. He also gets into bed but not with Sarah who carries a flame for him.

There was also the intriguing case of defending a murderer, a man who bludgeoned his wife to death. Main was against it but Margaret wants to defend him. He is a family friend but he might be devious or just plain insane.

The end of the first series and this has been an impressive show that heralded the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the supersonic 70s. Just a shame that the 70s did not turn out to be so space age.
