Sergeant Lamont is putting all of her efforts into Ricky Blackwell, a young scrote that she believes in, but can't quite commit to a straight and narrow path.
It's a very good watch, and once again it's the conflict that makes this one pretty good, we have CID trying hard to put away criminals, we now have Community Liaison, who are trying a more softly softly approach, it's the friction that lies between the two that adds the spice.
Marc O'Shea is really good here as Ricky, he's a good, mixed up young man, conflicted between crime and a decent path.
Good to see Sergeant Lamont finally put to good use, she's been a little anonymous up until this point, a little more progressive than some of the other characters, she was good here.
8/10.
