Captain America Takes The Spotlight In Avengers: Age Of Ultron Character Poster

14 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The folks over at Marvel are continuing their marketing campaign for Avengers: Age Of Ultron this week, with the arrival of a dedicated Captain America character poster. This latest release appears to be one of the final pieces of artwork slated to arrive, bearing the unmistakable visage of the first avenger, Steve Rogers.

Similarly to the previous onslaught of Avenger-specific posters, this one highlights Cap’s dominant trait; his stern side. Understandably so as he is the leader of the superhero team, a matter which the man himself recently addressed:

“I think [Captain America] feels very comfortable in a sort of leadership role, but I don’t think he gives orders, He does structure, organization — he’s a military guy,” Evans told Yahoo during an on-set interview. “Tony [Stark] is definitely paying the bills, and since there really is no company to report to, we’re kind of this independent unit that needs »

Both individually and as a unit, the members of The Avengers have faced down many terrifying threats thrown at them . but this summer will see them square off against an enemy unlike any they.ve ever come across. The Age of Ultron is almost here . and if Chris Evans can be believed, then the robotic menace will be one of the most fascinating villains we.ve seen so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Along with a small group of other journalists, I took a trip to the set of The Avengers: Age of Ultron last summer, and while interviewing the Captain America star . dressed in his full, new costume . he explained exactly why Ultron, played by James Spader, will be a captivating force to be reckoned with when he makes his way to the big screen this summer. ‘Agents of Shield’ Cast Previews Skye’s Transformation, A Team Divided

19 hours ago | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The last time we saw “Marvel’s Agents of Shield,” the mysterious object known as the Diviner had transformed Skye (Chloe Bennet) and Raina (Ruth Negga) into something altogether Inhuman through the process of Terrigenesis, killing Agent Trip (B.J. Britt) in the process.

When the show returns from its midseason break on March 3 with an episode aptly titled “Aftershocks,” the team will be reeling from that major loss, while Skye attempts to come to terms with her newfound abilities — which seem to cause devastating earthquakes that she’s unable to control.

Variety was among a number of outlets invited to visit the “Agents of Shield” set and gather intel from the secretive stars of the ABC drama, which returns for a 12-week run of uninterrupted episodes from 9 p.m. tonight. Enticing Avengers: Age Of Ultron Teaser Lands Ahead Of Thursday’s Full Trailer

20 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With the third and likely final trailer pegged for release on Thursday, March 5, Marvel is already beginning to stoke the embers of excitement for Avengers: Age of Ultron by releasing a new teaser clip.

At only a mere 14 seconds in length though, the footage doesn’t offer an awful lot more than what we’ve already seen. Much like previous trailers, Joss Whedon’s highly-anticipated sequel looks to allocate more screen time to the relationship between Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner.

On a related note, we learned just yesterday that Jeremy Renner has agreed to do a standalone movie as Hawkeye should the opportunity present itself. Whether this solo outing pans out remains to be seen, but it’s still interesting to note that the actor has committed to the possibility, even if it does appear to be blue-sky thinking given the overwhelming amount »

New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Team Dynamics, Fighting Styles, Villains And S.H.I.E.L.D. Details

It seems Fandango's team was among the reporters who visited the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron last year, as they've revealed more from their exclusive chat with stars Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner, who of course will return as Captain America and Hawkeye, respectively, in the highly-anticipated Marvel sequel. Evans first suggested that Cap's connection with Black Widow still exists following Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but her past, and dynamic with Bruce Banner, is explored more. "This movie begins with kind of a connection between the two of us, but she has her own arc in this movie," he said. "They do really good stuff with [Black Widow] in this one with her personal stories." Renner then added that his archer's deep relationship with Widow will also carry over from The Avengers. "They have a long history together, and more of that is revealed as well," he said. Chris Evans »

Chris Evans talks Avengers: Age of Ultron action scenes, “Man, the Avengers just kicked ass!”

It’s not long now until Earth’s Mightiest Heroes team up again to take on villainous artificial intelligence in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America himself Chris Evans has been talking about his role in the movie, along with Tony Stark’s involvement and the team-up nature of the film.

“I think [Captain America] feels very comfortable in a sort of leadership role, but I don’t think he gives orders,” Evans told Yahoo! News. “He does structure, organization — he’s a military guy. Tony [Stark] is definitely paying the bills, and since there really is no company to report to, we’re kind of this independent unit that needs to rely on each other and work as a team, even in their day-to-day lives.”

But for Evans, the most exciting parts of Avengers: Age of Ultron are the action scenes.
