Alf, Ada, Hetty and Osbert head off to an idyllic break in a charming cottage in the countryside, unfortunately the cottage is incredibly run down, the weather is terrible, and Osbert has left all of the food on the coach.
The Café setting served its purpose, it changed things up, but it became apparent that it had its limitations, no wonder they started branching out in this final series, they definitely started to follow usual sitcom formats, so here we got the inevitable holiday episode.
I enjoyed this final installment, pretty funny, and nice to see the crowd in holiday mode, even if the location wasn't exactly the last word in comfort.
It definitely made me want to watch Inn for Trouble, if you like this series and haven't seen it, I urge you to give it a try.
You can only imagine what a cottage like that would be worth in this day and age, the original air BnB?
It's a shame it came to an end here, it was definitely on the up.
7/10.
