Joaquin Phoenix's performance was excellent in Walk the line. I was not a fan of Johnney Cash before this movie but I am now. I never knew until I saw the movie that he had such a rough life. Joaquin should of won a academy award. (if he didn't) and his efforts to play Johnny such as learning to play a guitar, wow and singing were excellent. His love for June was amazing! thumbs up Joaquin.I can watch this movie over and over, which I do. Reese Witherspoon was beautiful and amazing in this. The movie made me really see how their early life's together were fantastic. June carter really saved johnney from himself. thats a strong lady.
